Cellar Notes is a private, offline journal for guided structured wine tasting.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resume a tasting?

Close the guided flow and choose Save and close. The most recently edited draft appears on Home with the section where you left off.

Can I taste blind?

Yes. Turn on Tasting blind in Identity. Add the bottle identity on Review after the assessment, or keep the completed record unidentified.

Where is my data stored?

Tasting records and selected bottle photos are stored in the app’s private container on your device. The app has no account, backend, analytics, advertising, or tracking.

How do I delete my data?

Delete one record from its tasting detail, discard a draft when closing it, or remove everything from About → Delete all tasting data.

Why can’t the journal open?

Close and reopen the app, then restart the iPhone if necessary. Keep the app installed while requesting support because deleting it also deletes locally stored records that might otherwise be recoverable.
